Guest guest
Kim, You didn't offend me. The reason the mother doesn't have custody of the kids is because she lost temporary custody back in July because she was doing stuff in front of the kids and not taking care of them. Their stepmom is due back this weekend so she will be able to help. Because of my health my mom has let their mom keep them for a couple of hours to give me a break after school. As for the seven month old, her father works night shift and he comes sees her but we have her 24-7. He got her a couple of hours today because of me feeling so bad and he wanted her. There isn't anyone else but us because my brother doesn't want them any where around my father for things that we went through when we were children and my brother and father have already got into a fight over my nephew. We did talk to the lawyer this week and by Thrusday it will be all straighten that she will get the kids every other weekend and she will get them for her summer visitation as soon as they get out of school which will definetly give me a break then. I have decided if I can't take it by this weekend I will get my mom to take me to the doctor. Today was so bad I almost gave up. I got some sleep and felt better. Thanks for worrying about me and hope you feel better soon also.
Guest guest
, sounds like you got a full load with those kids then. Just don't wait too long in pain because it will take more medication to cover the pain the longer you wait. I'll pray that all goes well with the lawyer so that you get some much needed rest. Keep in touch and you've got my prayers that you have some pain free (or just less painful) days ahead. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Kimber, I have been having a load dumped on me and went to see my doctor yesterday and we decided to go with the surgery. As for the pain she told me to up the MS Contin to 60mg twice a day and make sure to take my lortab every 4 hours. If in two weeks I am not doing better she is going to put me in the hospital. I have to call who is DR. Hawes PA and ask her to set up an appt. with Dr. about surgery and we will find out my options there. We have been having a rough week because we found out Wed. morning at 1220 am that my cousin who had cancer passed away and when we got back from the doctor we also found out the one of my aunt's husband had passed too. So we have been having a time of it. I am trying to hang in there but it is so hard. If I do go in the hospital I will get my mom to email the list to let everyone know. Thanks for being a great friend and hope you are having a pain free day. in Sumter, SC
Guest guest
, I'm so sorry you've been having such a bad time of it. It is always hard to lose someone and worse when it is more than one person, especially on top of a chronic illness. I wish I could wave a wand and give you painfree days from here on out. Did they mention what type of surgery or is Dr. going to tell you at your appt.? Please do have your mom tell the group if you go to the hospital, if possible if she can give us a phone number some of us may be able to call you and keep your mind off actually being in the hospital for a bit. Keep in touch as I worry about you. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Note: All advice given is personal opinion, not equal to that of a licensed physician or health care professional.
