Guest guest
If you live in the US check with the Dept. of Health in your state or tell us which state you are in and maybe we can help! There are some programs that provide financial assistance with co-pays, etc. Are you doing chest pt's or using the vest? Rosemary from New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12.5, 10, 6...... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; we have a dog we named -are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication!!! At least it wasn't albuterol or Coly... I believe the Bureau of Children with medical handicaps could help but its been a mess with the paperwork. I am planning to apply again. He is doing hand cpts. He is not big enough for the vest yet!! We are still waiting to hear about a nurse that will go to his childcare place. I am just so dependant on a nurse to check his lungs and heart rate that I am scared to go too long without their help. The nurse at my clinic said that I will get better as time goes on!! I hope so because I want to do my best to keep him healthy!! Thanks, le mom of Chas(18 mos) wcf
