Guest guest
Hi all, I wanted to drop a quick note to let you all know that I did keep my child home. I asked the teaching assistant to call me if they didn't go so that I could take him to school. It was 30 degrees here this morning. I asked him if he wanted to go on the trip and he said no. I called the assistant superintendent and left a message to call me back but never returned my call. Did anyone from PA see in the news about a school in Danville whose teachers were tested and they all put I am a Teacher for their names? The kids in this school also failed their tests this past Spring. This disappoints me but if the kids fail this Spring then I get to send my children to another school in the district. Which will be easy since my mom is a cook at one and she can keep an eye out. If my daughter, who doesn't have CF , would have been going on that same field trip I would have kept her home also. They don't need to do that in the dead of winter in January. Save it for April or May. I tried to get into contact with an attorney but I can't seem to find one who deals with the educational aspect. Does Beth Sufian, spelling?, deal with that? Could she give me some advice or maybe write a letter for me you think? My heartfelt thanks to EVERYONE who gave me their opinions. Dawn, I'll e-mail you as soon as I can get that info for you. Thanks. from PA

Guest guest
I'm curious too, . Does your son have a history of lung bleeds whenever he's exposed to cold weather, or did a doctor tell you that this is just a possibility? Kim > Did they ever bleed before?
