Guest guest
One thing I forgot to mention about my GI appointment.....a real positive aspect! I have prepared an addendum to add to my SSDI application. It's a history, in my words, of my medical and physical experiences being diagnosed with CP and then Diabetes, a story of all that has happened during the last two years and how this has all affected me. I gave a copy to my doctor, explaining that I was applying for SSDI and I wanted him to have read this, and that he would be asked to write a letter for me to go with my application. He didn't read it while I was there, but said, how great an idea this was, but he had no reservations whatsoever about writing a detailed letter to Social Security outlining why I should most certainly receive benefits and that in his opinion, I should have applied a long time ago! Whew! Was this ever exciting news.....someone that's more than happy to help me establish my claims. He also said that incorrectly done fecal fat test was a joke, and that he would be more than happy to refute the results of that one and have a proper one done if I needed it. Just had to share that GOOD news. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina Southeastern Representative PAI, Intl. Guest guest
Heidi, well at least he's willing to help you get the disability. That's one thing you don't have to worry about then.
