Guest guest
Hi yall, Just a quickie here..... Has anyone found the " secret " to what you should eat just prior to bedtime to prevent waking up in the AM with a painful stomach/pancreas from it being totally empty? My son and I are both having problems back and forth with this. While we are both still able to eat " normal " food (somewhat), we both struggle with find the right foods to eat last thing in the evening. Neither of us can tolerate " hard " proteins, such as red meat, but we seem to do fine with dairy, just so long as we are really careful with watching the fat content. Any suggestions and experience would be greatly appreciated. BTW, we have found if we eat " dinner " at about 5 PM, then we must eat something else prior to 10 PM bedtime. We have really evolved into the 5 - 6 meal a day regime.......but it feels like we just graze all day without ever really eating a " meal " as we used to know it. Thanks ahead of time guys, Donna & Cameron Womack Fort Worth, TX
Guest guest
Donna, I usually don't eat anything after 6pm (though I do drink an Ensure before bedtime) but I do get up in the middle of the night and eat something, usually around 3 or 4 am. I usually eat something that is a carbohydrate. Like a bagel or something similar. Just enough to tide me over. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
