Guest guest
Dear Kimber: I am so sorry that you have to go through all this hassle. It is always hard to work through paperwork, but you are a strong woman. Just think of it as a challenge that you can conquer. Please let me know if I can help (I am really good at talking and will take my cell phone to work today in case you need me to make a few calls for you -- might as well use the free long distance.) Email me at gwest1955@ aol.com - I will keep it on all day. Take care and good luck, Gail
Guest guest
Kimber, You might want to appy for a deferrment on your student loan. I've had to do that in the past when I lost my job. Depending on the amount of the loan and your payments you could always look into lowering your payment amount and extending the life of the loan. I've also had to do this. As far as student loans go I've experienced almost every hell they can put you through and it's incredibly frustrating. I can say that in the end it all worked out, thank goodness! I hope you're able to work all of this out and get your tax refund. It's no fun to look forward to getting something and then have someone steal it away from you. Good luck and I'll be sending good thoughts your way. Peace,
Guest guest
, I talked with the loan corporation. Luckily they can't touch my federal taxes, so I'll get those. Evidently, there is a list of people who are delinquent that goes out once a year. At that time I happened to be delinquent. I should be caught up or defered by the time it comes around again. I am in the process of getting a deferment or getting the whole loan wiped out if I get social security disability. For the deferment, I'm in the process of getting my doctor to sign the necessary forms. So I am aware of that. I've had to do it before when I had my heart surgery. (and yes I am young - 32). I am in the process of getting the other problem worked out too. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
