Guest guest
Hi , I find myself less tolerant of others, like when my husband gets a head cold and is out of commission for at least 3 days while my son with the picc in his arm is running circles. I am also much less tolerant of those who think they are soooo sick, and compare their breathing problems (associated with years of smoking), their reflux and whatever else with and think they know how he feels. Those people I have decided I have not much time for, my other kids I give the same attention ( I think, or more so I hope), that I give to . Geez, now you gave me something to really look at and ponder. Take care, , mommy of 4, 3 wcf, a g-tube and his wonderful personality, , 17, Caleb, 7, and ,
Guest guest
Do any of you sometimes find yourself not giving as much attention as you should to other peoples' illnesses as you do for your cfer? mom to 3wcf and Brenna 7wocf
Guest guest
I try to. I find I keep having to remind myself that for some people that ear infection is the WORST thing their child will succumb. I try to listen and be symathetic because I know how I hate when people minimize what my kids have or how I feel. Remember, there is always a first. A first surgery, hospital stay, IV, collapsed lung, bleeding, etc. and we must all respect and remember how we felt that First time. I am now stepping off my soap box! Sorry...... Rosemary from New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12.5, 10, 6...... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; we have a dog we named -are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication!!! At least it wasn't albuterol or Coly...
