Guest guest
I refuse to deal with residents they get the look from me that says go back to school when you are done we will talk.I think the course is called God I,II,III etc.Seems to go with the medical courses. The way to really put them in their place of thinking differently is to ask them to volunteer to spend 2 weeks in bed in the hospital so they learn the other side how it feels like forever for the nurse to answer the call button or to be ignored or looked /talked down to by the " doctor " taking care of them.Maybe a few scares of different diagnosis as a real patient would face.Even better make all doctors be Nurses First then maybe things would change.BeckyB. Guest guest
I agree with the not liking the " cfer in room203 " , once when had to have his picc line placed the nurse referred to him as " the MRSA " , I dont know if I got more mad or just plain upset, but I let her know that my son had a name, and that it was , not the MRSA. She apologized, but I dont like her to this day, and I dont even remember her name. Take care, , mommy of 4, 3 wcf, a g-tube and his wonderful personality, , 17, Caleb, 7, and ,

I loved it! Rosemary from New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12.5, 10, 6...... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; we have a dog we named -are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication!!! At least it wasn't albuterol or Coly...
