Guest guest
Wonderful news! Wonderful news! Read this email with a great deal of joy. Judith Hello everyone, Many good things came out of the Lana'i Hawaii Leadership Conference, but surely by far the best was the announcement made by Chairman Sam Caster about a Cystic Fibrosis project. As you may know, CF is a child killer, likely the worst. Affecting the respiratory and digestive systems, it is classed as a genetic disease with no known cure. The average life span of a CF child is 30 years, and one of very poor quality. Among the American population there are 30,000 affected children. Proportionately, it is the same for Canadians: 3,000. In the European countries there are 20,000 affected children. In the U.S. 2,500 children are born with CF per year, with 12 million unaffected adult carriers in the population. Now for the good news. Virtually 100% of CF children receiving Glyconutrients respond very positively, frequently with total reversals. Even better, this begins in the first month they get these nutrients. Mannatech Inc. is a company of compassion. As the world's only supplier of Glyconutrients, they transfer nutritional supplements to a nonprofit charity called Manna-Relief, asking only the factory cost of providing them (about 20% of normal wholesale cost). Manna-Relief was founded by Sam and Caster, the originators of Mannatech. At the Lana'i Leadership Conference Sam Caster announced that in 2003 Manna-Relief would be provided a very substantial amount of products for CF children, hoping that sufficient funds will be forthcoming to care for all 30,000 American sufferers. What could be more worthy? Expect the formal announcement about this at the Mannatech annual conference, called Mannafest, March 20-22, 2003. For more information about Manna-Relief, access their web site at <http://www.mannarelief.org/>. I hope you find this very exciting and will do as much as you can to make this CF project a success. Sincerely, Eugene Fox
