When you say you were in the chat room Saturday night, what

time were you there? And what chat room did you go to? The

one at top5plus5.com, or somewhere else? I was in the chat

room last night from about 9:35 until after 10:30 and there was

only one other person there.

I even sent you an email to let you know I would be there, since I

was there Friday night, too, and you never showed up as you

said you had planned to. A young man named who isn't in

the PAI, but had stumbled upon Mark's website, came in and we

had a nice long chat. Turns out he has pseudocysts that needed

to be drained, he's already had them drained twice. So naturally,

we had much in common to discuss!

The Pancreatitis Association International is an organization

designed to benefit pancreatitis patients, and their caregivers, by

sharing their education, experience and personal stories. Your

participation is welcome and encouraged, and we invite you to

contribute by visiting our active message board. If you choose to

learn from the resource materials, links and our library, which is

located at: http://www.top5plus5.com, we encourage you to do

so. I feel confident that you will benefit in some form from what

the group has to offer.

As you will soon see, the volume of individual posts can be

overwhelming since this is a very active membership. You may

elect to change your mail status to " Daily Digest " or no mail and

read the messages from the website, if the individual posts

become too numerous. This can be done by going to the

Members section and editing your preferences. If you have any

difficulty doing this, please email me and I will change your

mailing status for you.

I am the South Carolina and Southeastern Regional

representative. If you are located in the Southeast, I would

appreciate it if you would reply back with your full name and

address so I can add you to our list of regional members. Being

able to track our membership will allow us better representation

in the future. We currently have representatives in several states

and countries, and hope soon to have even more complete

representation, yet we need your personal imput of this

information for this to happen.

You will find this group to be very diverse, yet all striving in a

common goal to help each other, and themselves, in their daily

struggles with this disease. We hope that you will feel welcome

here. If there is anything I can do to help you, please do not

hesitate to contact me personally.
