Guest guest Posted January 28, 2003 Report Share Posted January 28, 2003 Hi Today I went to the doctor Early this morning...Ughhhhhh He just pulled the needle and switched me to Zosyn every 6 hours for at least another week...I have a peripheral IV in though and it sux big time...its bloody and whatnot...lets take bets how long this will last...LOL Ive been scrubbing the goopy hole where the needle was with alcohol and peroxid...you should see it BUBBLE ! ! ! the only thing is he is not used to ports so he didn't culture it or do any blood cultures....We are hoping we can save my life line...But when he ses me in a week won't the hole have closed up...how will he tell if its still infected?
