Guest guest
Hi Sandy, Thank you so much for responding. Since I am new to this site, I get very excited when I see a letter to me (simple pleasures?). I was wondering if you suffer from acid stomach or acid reflux? Most cp/ap suffers do, that is probably why your dr put you on Prilosec. I have been taking it for years now and it is beginning not to help anymore. But, in my case, not taking it was causing a litany of other problems. I also read that Prilosec can cause spasms if you have Sphincter of Oddi dysfunction, which I do. Again, it is a case of " damned if you do or damned if you don't " . I hope you don't suffer any repercussions from removing it from your regimen. When I worked in the natural food industry (14 years), some people had success with fighting acid stomach by eating fresh plums. I know how hard it can be to try and remain positive in regards to carrying unwanted weight. I am sorry if you are feeling bad about that right now. I guess I just decided that with the amount of struggle a lot of us go through each and every day just to be less symptomatic, that I wasn't go to contribute to my own struggles. Screw anyone who wants to judge me because of my weight. Also, I thank God that I am not one of the unfortunate who struggle their whole lives with obesity. Quick question, do you have liver problems also? I am hurting today on my right side, near the mid rib section. And my family keeps telling me when I look yellow. I know that the pancreas and liver are sister organs. Good luck with your efforts. I am going to try and use your inspiration and start walk again. I sometimes fear the pain that I know will come. But I respect your strength for not giving up. Have a peaceful and safe weekend.
