Guest guest
Hi Fellow Members! My recent attack of pancreatic pain has led me down several roads of thought. Initially I thought it was being caused by the physical exertion in my job. I don't discount that physical exertion can cause pain for cp sufferers, but I think I have discovered what has been causing my pain. For weeks, I have been suffering from a yeast infection......diabetes, pancreatitis and the menopause do not help at all! Today I discovered that the cream I have been using liberally, contains 1% alcohol as a preservative. Hardly enough to irritate the pancreas? Well, from my own observations over the years, things you put on your skin can irritate the pancreas as much as what you eat. Recently I discovered that virtually all my hair care products i.e. dye, styling gel and hairspray contain alcohol, and perfume does also, so I no longer use any of these products. Anyway, so far none of the treatments I have used have cured the yeast infection, so I have been browsing the Net for answers, especially alternative therapies. I found this terrific site for any of you interested in alternative treatments, diet etc. http://www.gflinks.com/ It contains numerous links pertaining to many medical conditions. I hope you might find it of help. Regards Ethne
