Saturday isn't a good day for the chat room, but I tried it anyway

because I have some questions. Now all of you are on the receiving

end of my diatribe, but perhaps some of you will have some answers for

me.

I recently had a very bad flare-up and got bloodwork done that came

back completely normal. A week later I was still in pain, although

eating small, light meals and taking my pancreatic enzymes.

Yesterday, I just got tired of the whole thing and decided to go

without the enzymes with meals just to prove to myself I really do

need them.

Guess what? No problems. I ate light meals, with small amounts of

fat and proteins, including a couple of bites of cheesecake and

macademia cream pie, and took no supplements of any kind. Slept great

and am doing the same today, with only the mild pressure in my chest

that I've had since my first experience with AP in September 2001.

So...is it all in my head, as some of the doctors obviously assume?

Has anyone else gone off the enzymes after taking them for more than a

year? Once before I didn't have my supplements with me when I was

away from home for a day and I suffered immediately. Not this time.

Frustrating not to know what's going on! And I'm sure all of you have

felt that way. Any and all responses much appreciated.

Oh, and thank, thank you, for the wonderful " actual medical chart

notes " I laughed til the tears were running down! I'm printing that

out and keeping it for the bad days. We could all use more laughs

like that.

Heidi, I believe that under HIPAA you can contest any notations in

your records.

Karyn, so sorry you're having a bad time. I know that as soon as any

of us know about that, many prayers go out on your behalf.

Sorry to go on and on, but that's everything I wanted to share in the

chat room. I will try again later in the week, perhaps.

Aloha,

Chris
