Guest guest
Hi All, My catheter is now back in place and I wear a binder everywhere I go. The surgery itself went well but I needed both a front and back incisions. So far, the headaches have been minimal...Praise God! I had a semi-acute attack afterwards as the pain I felt was more like pancreatic pain rather than incisional pain. It only lasted about 3-4 days.Just one night of vomiting and then abdominal pain after that. By the 15th, I am home with strict activity orders for 6-8 weeks-- no lifting above 10#, no twisting, bending, reaching above the head, prolonged sitting upright or driving. That's to give eveything a chance to scar down and grab on well so it won't come out again. Please pray I'll have the discipline to stick with these orders so I don't jeopardaize this surgery. Hope y'all are doing well and have a low pain weekend. Love Ya, Diane H TN State Rep
