Guest guest
Karyn, my bloodsugars have, of course, been high lately due to the infection. Plus, being on blood thinners also slows down the healing process on top of the diabetes. I'm trying to lower the bloodsugars, but it isn't easy. It's actually the same problem as last time, except I didn't burn it this time. I think what happened is that the infection from last time wasn't completely gone and so it healed with the infection still there, which caused it to come back underneath the nail bed. So far it seems to be healing well, though i did have a reaction from the adhesive on the band-aid they gave me to cover it, so I had to switch to gause pads and that self stick bandages they have out now, so there is no actual adhesive o touch my skin. Wonderful stuff. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Note: All advice given is personal opinion, not equal to that of a licensed physician or health care professional.
