Karyn,

my bloodsugars have, of course, been high lately due to the

infection. Plus, being on blood thinners also slows down the

healing process on top of the diabetes. I'm trying to lower

the bloodsugars, but it isn't easy. It's actually the same

problem as last time, except I didn't burn it this time. I

think what happened is that the infection from last time

wasn't completely gone and so it healed with the infection

still there, which caused it to come back underneath the

nail bed. So far it seems to be healing well, though i did

have a reaction from the adhesive on the band-aid they gave

me to cover it, so I had to switch to gause pads and that

self stick bandages they have out now, so there is no actual

adhesive o touch my skin. Wonderful stuff.
