Cecilia,

When you were talking about the trial and error period of assessing the

efficacy of different antidepressants, it made me remember the number of

different medications I tried before finding one that seemed to " work. "

When you shared the two perspectives of making that decision, I laughed when

you said, " I am very happy with using Celexa. I could not live without it or

rather others could not live with me...:) "

This situation actually does happen to me when it come to either pain

medications or insulin. When I am in pain, I have been known to get grumpy.

Additionally, one of my early signs of hypoglycemia is irritability. Usually,

however, I am not the one who initially recognizes these behavioral changes.

Now, where I should probably be grateful that there is somebody who

identifies these symptoms before I pass out from low blood sugar or lose the

opportunity to 'manage' my pain versus 'chase' it, I often find myself

snapping back a resentful " I am not fuzzy " :-) or " Fine, I will check my

blood sugar " , then go eat crow as I reach for the fast acting glucose or get

something for the pain.

Anyway, now I am rambling, but it's just another example of the insanity of

this disease. God love our family, friends, caregivers, and advocates.

Blessings.
