Guest guest
I found a good article about this antioxidant therapy at: http://www.findarticles.com/cf_0/m0ISW/2002_June/86387586/p1/article.j html?term=pancreatitis I had never run across this website before (www.findarticles.com) and it's pretty nifty. I searched " pancreatitis " and came up with a lot of good results. If anyone is using antioxidant therapy, I would love to hear your experiences with it. I'm thinking about starting it. Guest guest
My sister in law insisted I start these antioxidants that she was selling. I began taking them (mostly grape seed extract plus B12) in January. I promised to give it a 3 month trial. I am at the end of the trial period, but I am going to continue using it. To tell you the truth, I still have plenty of pain, and lack of energy...but who knows what I would be like without it. One of those mysteries. So, since all the research says at the very worst it can't hurt me, I'm going to keep on taking it (though what I purchase from her costs me $45.00/bottle and around $35 for the B-12. My husband also takes it, so we go through about a bottle every month and a half. I take 2X as much has him. Anyway, hope this helps. Guest guest
Patty, Try and find out what the specific ingredients are in the combination supplement your doctor is recommending. Sometimes, you can achieve the same potency and quality by choosing the individual antioxidant vitanutrients. Karyn E. , RN Indianapolis, Indiana Ex. Guest guest
Diane, Thank you so much for the link to that article. To those who may have missed it. It is: http://www.findarticles.com That is the home page, which will allow you access to several other related healthcare articles. I went to this site, and wasn't seen again for hours. (As they say, I was washed away in the surf!) I have added it to http://groups.yahoo.com/\ group/pancreatitis/links for future access. Thank you for sharing this site.
