Guest guest
I just got word that my brother survived the surgery. It was rough though as he started hemorhaging right away and they had to go through 2 units of blood. The surgeon's English was limited and my older brother and mother could not get much info other than they expect no further complications as a result of this surgery. They did say that his pancreas looks very bad and that he would probably lose his insulin production. We are now just praying that he does not get an infection and he will be over one more hurdle. Thanks for your emails and support. Dave, I will pass on your offer of support to my brother. You are so kind to offer. I'll be in touch. I have been praying for all of you in this group who suffer from this terrible disease. in SC
Guest guest
, I am glad that your brother came through surgery okay. How were his first 24 hours? Is there an address that we can send him a card to? Karyn E. , RN Indianapolis, Indiana Ex.
