Guest guest
Hi Jeannine, Thanks for taking time to answer me back. I also get migraines and have problems with sinusitis in the spring and fall mostly. So far this spring I have had the sinusitis problems that has required medication. Just the sinus headaches along with the migraines. My neurologist had recomended treated me my sinus headaches the same as my migraines, which I do take Foirocet for and when this does help I take Zomig. It really helps a lot. But you can only take 2 a day. It's in the same group as imitrax, I beleive. I also take a blood pressure medicine, for my moderaltely high blood pressure and also headaches. It's a Beta Blocker called Lopressor and I have been on it for 21 years and it seems to keep my headaches and Blood pressure under control. Of course, after I had a migraine, constantly for 6 months and ended up in the ER at least once a week for the pain and nausea. I decided to have experimental surgery for my miagraines, which did help for a few months until my embolization came loose in my Left external cororiod artery. The they did it again and it held for 9 months until the artery balloon out and the blood flow was going around it. Then they finally had to go in and surgerical blood they Ligated the left external coririad artery permenately this time and it has held. That happen in 85 and 86, and has all lot with my headaches. Like I said this was all expermintal surgery and they didn't know the long term outcome and they quit doing it after mine. I was only the 5th person that they did this to and I was the only one they have problems with. But that's always my luck. If anyone is going to have problems with any surgery it's going to be me. The last time my husband add up my headaches was like 7 years ago and I had a headache that was worth $150,000.00. Since they I haven't had too much problems and for the most part my medicines have keep it under control. I have had at least 2 mini strokes, which are very rare with migraines. At least that what my neoro tells me and he very knowledgeable. He has paper publish and has done research and I help participate with it on migraines. At least for my migraines, I very lucky to have such a good neoro doc. Now if I could just find a GI who knows half as much as my neoro doc, my pancreatitis would be in good shape. I have heard from all lot of folks and the pancreatitis sites that also have migraines. I guess we are just the lucky few that have all the good stuff . I hope your having a pain free day.
