I have been in touch with him and was impressed as how fast I got an E-mail back from him. He is very famous for doing Total Pancreactectomy with Auto Islet Transplant and several our of member have used him with good results. I glad he did answer your questions. I talked to my mom today, and she said that if my MD won't give me a referral to go see Dr. Sutherland, that I should make my own appointment. I guess I was born at the University of Minnesota and they do have programs to help you pay your bills and if Dr. Sutherland sees me and thinks my visit is justified, my insurance almost has to pay.
