Dear ,

Your advice about remaining vigilant about our hospital care and

medical treatments while hospitalized is much appreciated and

heeded. I am so sorry for the loss of your husband, ,

three years ago, and very sorry that you had to suffer through

such a traumatic experience while he was fighting for his life.

Unfotunately, both ER and hospital experiences for a person with

CP can often be less than what we expect. I don't quite

understand why this happens, but it does, and usually alarms no

one else but the patient and their caregivers.

I hope you will find some peace and resolution soon.

With hope and prayers,

Heidi

3 years from an acute pancreatitis attack. His cause was

hyperlipidemia V. What a shock. Because he had had other

attacks we knew exactly what we were dealing with and

knew exactly what to expect. I drove him to the local hospital, we

live in New Hampshire, at 8 in the morning JUST TO GET THE

PAIN UNDER CONTROL. We were going to have him

transferred to another hospital later in the day. That never

happened. By noon time I believe that he was in some sort of a

coma state and at 4:30 he was dead.
