Guest guest
The stores sell neon colors of poster board and clear contact paper. These are what we made signs for my daughter for use in the hospital she has allergies to plastic tape . They hold up pretty good and can be taped up with clear tape.I used to tell people not to just drop by my house but to call first .If they were rude enough to stop by we stood outside talking ( I live in upstate NY very cold winters and some people are slow learners ; )I used to ask have you been sick in the last week or been around anyone who was sick. When Rebekah was born we had nurse care 8 hours a day and there were 3 of them so if one was sick we still had backup nurses.Good Luck BeckyB. Guest guest
was wondering about a sign for her door. How about something like " Should you enter these premises harbouring a contagious illness, the medical costs associated with its treatment will be sent to you. " Hit 'em where it really hurts. Much love from a reasonably smoke free Canberra, - Mum to Cate 10yrs wocf and Sian 6yrs wcf, asthma, GERD and ADD? Guest guest
Do you home school your daughter? How do you keep her from being around all the germs at school? Traci was in daycare at 18 months. She has really boosted her immune system with the exposers.
Guest guest
does go to school and there is no way to avoid exposure to colds/flus or anything else contagious there but I can control who comes into my house. If someone comes into my home and they are sneezing/coughing/runny nose etc...they need to leave and take their germs with them. I know there is really no way to protect them from every illness but if I can prevent at least one illness by posting a sign on my door then it is well worth it. also attended a daycare when she was younger, all of my children with the exception of Evan (he's only 4 mnths) have gone to daycare. I only ask because when is on Septra I usually allow her to be around another child who is coughing, sneezing etc. Of course depending on how bad the cough is.
