GrandmomBev,

Which flavor is your favorite? :) I know the ADEK doesn't taste all that

good. Is the EmulsaE the same thing as ADEK?

I have seen before you post that you live in Orlando. Do you like living

there? I spent a summer working at Disney when I was in high school (and every

summer before that in the park as a guest :)). A friend and I did it together

(carpooled from Lakeland) and we had a blast. I pass through there all the time

to see my parents in Lakeland, but hate the traffic!

Making meds taste better...

Hey everybody, I came across an advertisement in one of my medical journals

for a product called Flavorx. It's used to make meds taste better. They

have 41 different flavors and can create more to your child's specification.

According to their website, they have done a great deal of research to make

sure the flavors don't effect the medications. Not just in the US, either

" The FLAVORx System is available in over 2000 pharmacies in the United

States, Canada, the Bahamas, Australia, and New Zealand, and in 25 of the

top hospitals across the United States. " The website has a locator to show

you which pharmacies have the product. When your doctor writes a script you

have him add a request for the flavoring. I'm not sure how this affects the

cost, but it sounds great! I thought this might help some of you who have

trouble getting your kids to take meds. BTW, it can even be used for over

the counter meds. Has anyone tried this already?

The emulsa E is just E ..ADEK is a combination.....It can be any flavor you

want , just about. It is liquid.........

Yes, I live in Orlando, I don't se the traffic problem as some have

mentioned. I guess I know which roads/streets to travel at peak times & that

makes the difference.

All my kids worked at Disney at one time or another , My daughter-in law

still does 20+ years. She is a manager --the dance/bands etc booking for the

different parades & competitions & those smaller stages you see all over. .

Now one of my granddaughters is Cinderella /Ariel /Jane/ & another one on

weekends & holidays. She is still in school --senior ...did it full time

during summer. Has also worked at gift shops when she was younger . She is

18 now.......And I proudly say a real beauty .

My sons also worked there. years ago . Chuck was a clogger dancer behind

Glenn at the opening & Mike(Cindrella's dad), did the Jungle

Cruise. Kelley worked in the Hawaiian Village & Patti Lynn worked in the

candy making store. -----

Where did you work?? Some of my grandkids work at Universal too & Wet

N'Wild.

and Sea World too ..YES, I love it here. I wouldn't live anywhere else in

the world. I have travel over world & lived in many places, (service

brat --then service wife)...I have been here as my " return home' all my

life...Always new I would raise my kids here too. Remember I taught school

here 20 years.......

YES, It is a great place to live & work & play...My kids have most all moved

back here too..............

Lakeland is also lovely , just doesn't have enough for me & my family.

PLEASE stop by whenever you get thru here again. I am just off I-4 on East

Colonial Dr. If you think your coming by , call me 1-

LOVE & HUGS, GrandmomBEV
