Hey everybody, I came across an advertisement in one of my medical journals for

a product called Flavorx. It's used to make meds taste better. They have 41

different flavors and can create more to your child's specification. According

to their website, they have done a great deal of research to make sure the

flavors don't effect the medications. Not just in the US, either " The FLAVORx

System is available in over 2000 pharmacies in the United States, Canada, the

Bahamas, Australia, and New Zealand, and in 25 of the top hospitals across the

United States. " The website has a locator to show you which pharmacies have the

product. When your doctor writes a script you have him add a request for the

flavoring. I'm not sure how this affects the cost, but it sounds great! I

thought this might help some of you who have trouble getting your kids to take

meds. BTW, it can even be used for over the counter meds. Has anyone tried

this already?

YES, We have used " FlavorX " in many meds for years- Yes, they will tell

you it doesn't cost , but there is a very slight added cost-actually

pennies:):)

We say it takes the YUCKY out ..........We also flavor our own EmulsaE, a

water soluble vitamin we have been making for 17 years. ----There are allot

of mixtures we use like that ...BUT we are also a compounding specialty

pharmacy as well . Anything that can help anyone get the help they need thru

the medication----and it taste better , it is only right to do

Hello. We have tried the flavoring and it works wonders. We have it in Cipro and

we use the cherry flavoring. It doesn't work in all meds though so be sure to

ask the pharmacist. It does cost a little more per prescription but it is worth

it
