Guest guest
Hi Robin, I appreciated your encouraging post to Sheila. For someone who has been diagnosed one year you have a great attitude. It sounds like the answer was in letting go of the life before Pancreatitis and sending out the welcome wagon to the new lifestyle and dietary changes. The recurrent theme you spoke of was living one day at a time and not projecting into tomorrow. That is a skill that, for myself, takes a lot of practice, daily practice, actually. When you shared that " I feel best when I don't cheat at all, " reminded me that no one is perfect at this. It is a trial and error, learn as we go, when we make an unhealthy choice, (LOL) our bodies will let us know. It also reminded me that I am the only one I have to answer to. And, as I would be gentle and forgiving to another, I should be the same to me. Karyn E. , RN Founder / Executive Director Pancreatitis Association International Corp.
