Hi Louise,

Please do not be this way.

Of course the word " cancer " always scares us, but I think that your doc was

very agressive.

The tests that you done, are not so close to the pancreas, this makes me

wonder that your doc is looking for something different. Could be possible

that your pain is not from pancreas, could be from stomach or bowel, but not

necessarily cancer.

I done more than 13 upper GI endoscopies, always with biopsy. It is

necessary, and a great standard test, and 2 colonoscopies and I'm still

cancer free. In fact I never think about cancer.

Another thing that you can do after those test, is to see another opinion.

There're another kind of tests when you're looking for a tumor, CT Scan and

MRI for example.

Good Luck, and keep us update,

Liane

Today I asked the dr. why he is doing all of these tests again, he

said that he is looking for cancer. That is a BIG SCARE!!! I asked

if the pain was just caused by my pancreas but he said that he didn't

think so. So then I asked him what if he doesn't find anything with

this colonoscopy, he said then we'll try a different pain medicene

but that it can be risky.

....

I'm really scared, and maybe this info would help me to be not so

scared.

Thanks for being there-
