Shelia,

Extreme fatigue is a complaint for many people with chronic

pancreatitis. I believe it is caused by an imbalance of vitamins,

minerals and antioxidants that our bodies aren't absorbing as

they used to. Prior to my diagnosis, and the introduction of

vitamin, mineral and antioxidant supplements, I was unnaturally

fatigued every afternoon, very much like you described, like a

wave had hit. Once I started taking supplements, all this fatigue

went away. You may want to talk to you doctor about adding the

necessary supplments to combat this.

Now I take antioxidants containing additional Vitamin C, Vitamin

E, Selenium, Methionine and Beta Carotene. I also take

additional magnesium, B1, B6, B12 and folic acid each day.

With hope and prayers,

like, for want of a better description, you have been hit with a

wave of extreme fatigue? Like you just can't go one more step?

My PC doc says she thinks this is just from working the night

shift but I have worked nights 25 years and never had fatigue hit

like that. Shelia
