Guest guest
Torsten I am sorry Fiona is having a hard year .Be happy you only have one for now 2 is twice the everything TONS of LOVE.We are dealing with 16 yr old has Mono ,my 2nd grader has strep in her class , and the high school called they have Scabies going thru the school. We found out after 3 kids and tons of strep that it can cause terrible tummy aches, no fever,no sore throat and no headach it is nasty but easy to treat with antibotics it can also cause a rash.Good Luck finding out the problem and resolving it.BeckyB. Guest guest
Hi, thanks to all who gave advice regarding Fiona's sore bum. Kim, that link was really interesting. We still don't know what caused the problem, but the ped prescribed an antibiotic cream (neomycin), that finally did the trick. Still a lot of red bumps, but they get better and the itching is gone. Now Fiona has tummy aches. She even wakes up at night from the pain. That's a first for her and again we don't have an idea where it comes from. Belly isn't distended, stools are fine, appendix is okay. Obviously the new year starts with a reality check for us. Chicken pox, stomach flu, sore bum and now the tummy ache. Man, we aren't used to having a sick child at home, LOL! Silke is doing well but really get's me to work these days. That's why I don't reply to personal e-mails at the moment, sorry about that. Guest guest
Torsten, Sorry to hear about Fiona. We used Neomycin for nose infections, worked well. Hope all settles down soon.
