Hi RH - I find it hard to believe that at times you can't tie your shoelaces

but you have just got a Phd! I recently finished a degree in IT which took me

ten years (distance ed) - everything was so hard to understand as I couldnt keep

my mind on track. At exam time I had to close myself off in a room with the

books and no-one dared come near me - couldn't even bear one little sound or it

would wreck my concentration (my poor kids, now in their early 20s have learnt

to be v tolerant). This gives real hope for those of us who think we've lost it

for good! pamela
