Guest guest
Yes, it would be considered a “work related injury” as defined by the Department of Labor. Guest guest
Josh. As long as the Medical Provider shows in their notes that it was connected to their work environmental, it is an occupational disease. A similar question came up about TB in the workplace. A worker contracted TB because of the exposure in a van with 10 other workers who where on their way to work. Guest guest
Dermatitis which results from the unique situation or conditions of the workplace, should be covered. So, I would definitely call it an occupational condition if it were up to me. In terms of where to report it, it depends upon the state. Guest guest
Hello Josh, We do not have poison ivy in California, we do have poison oak. Yes it is an occupational hazard (as are bee stings and snakes), and it is reportable if it is work related. n Moses San Francisco ----- Original Message ----- From: " Keifer MD MPH " <mkeifer@...> < > Sent: Tuesday, August 08, 2006 2:16 PM Subject: Re: [ ] Poison Ivy > Dermatitis which results from the unique situation or conditions of the > workplace, should be covered.
