My son had this. He is making those sounds now since all the changes but

it is still an issue. The OT has us remind him to keep his lips closed

and in the beginning we physically put them together..

Saliva control is also really important. I spent a lot of years reminding Mark

to swallow. But again, this issue only went away completely with the

elimination of milk. We even had a cue for 'public' places. I would rub my

throat and Mark was reminded to swallow.
