Guest guest
Hi, I had an appointment with my cardiologist this morning for my yearly EKG and to set up my yearly echo. He said that not only is fish oil great for high triglycerides and partly helpful for high cholesterol, but it is also great for arrythemias. He said about 5 years ago several studies were done that showed that 1000mg twice a day of fish oil helped to significantly improve arrythemias. He says he prescribes it to pregnant women all the time instead of Rx meds that could impact the baby. He also said it has antinflamitory properties. I just wanted to pass the information along.
