Hi Cindy,

Welcome to the group. In answer to your questions...

1. Many RSS children have low muscle tone causing PT/OT delays. For

example, my son (4 years old) still cannot jump. Also, he

cannot draw with crayons yet because he isn't strong enough to push

down on the paper. He only uses markers. has been receiving

PT and OT services since he was 6 months old.

2. The best place to start for written materials is the Magic

Foundation (magicfoundation.org). They have a brochure they can send

you on RSS. Also, if you become a member ($25/year), you will have

access to their library of medical research and articles.
