OT/ leaving baby home for vacation

I am leaving in 2 weeks for a cruise on the Queen 2. My husband opted

to spend the week with Christian at his parent's house because we all know

there will be no fun to be had with a 14 month old (i.e. frequent naps,

feedings, early bedtimes, crankiness, etc.) My entire family is going

including my older son, . My husband wants me to go because of the

enormous amount of stress I have been enduring lately. I agreed..(wouldn't

you?) :-) But now that it is coming closer and closer I am starting to get

the guilt feelings and wondering how I can leave my baby for a week. I know

he will be with his father and his grandparents so what's my problem? I

know I am going to cry when we leave. I just hope this doesn't ruin my one

week off!

I guess what I am asking here is has anyone left their baby at home like

this? If so, did you have fun anyway?
