Guest guest
Well, it's been a long time since I was in a casting room. Rose is 6 years old now, and it's been about that many years since I was in that particular room. Anyway, my 2yo decided to take a leap off the couch, and he fractured a bone in his leg. When the doctor came in, he wasn't the one Rose had seen as a newborn. I mentioned to him that I'd been in this particular room before because my eldest was born with clubfoot. He asked how it turned out, and I told him about our experience with Dr. Ponseti. He couldn't believe Dr. Ponseti still sees patients! It was great. I encouraged him to look into the Ponseti method again. He seemed sort of interested, though, he basically said he and his colleagues hardly ever see clubfoot (small, rural hospital). So, my son is in a splint and can't walk for two weeks, but I got to talk about Dr. Ponseti and his method. Joy and Rose (1-30-99) plus two siblings and another on the way... http://www.geocities.com/joybelle15/rosesclubfootpage.html Yahoo! Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected.
