Iron and mito

I had blood work done a couple of months ago and my mom just recently

sent the results to the nutritionalist to look at. The nutritionalist

told my mom that I should be taking multi vitamins. Well these multi

vitamins have iron in them, and I read somewhere that while it is not

necessary to avoid iron rich foods if you have mito that you should

not be taking something with more iron. Is that true? I am asking

because I have been feeling extremely tired lately and I am wondering

if it is because of that.
