Guest guest
Hi, Everyone I am glad to hear that everyone had a good Christmas. We survived, but only just! As I told you before, had to go the ER Christmas night for an IV, but he his back on his feet and eating like there is no tomorrow, thank goodness. Of course, children must always share everything so my daughter's boyfriend, who is on his two week's leave from Iraq became desperately ill from this same bug and also had to go to the hospital for treatment. He, too, has recovered and is up and around. I spent yesterday down with fever and gastic issues, but am better today. We just hope that this is the end. I intend to spend today disinfecting my home with lysol and bleach and hoping that this is over for us. Oh, and just for fun, we had our family reunion, 25-30 people, in the 3 days after Christmas. What were we thinking? ! 13lbs, 11 oz. Oh, my gosh! Who would have thought it just a few weeks ago. I am so impressed with him and with what Dr. H can do for a kid. Way to go Jodi R.! Way to go, ! I looked at Immi's photos. What a beautiful kid. I love the way her mom talks about her, too. She is so witty and the love she has for her just shines through her words. Anyway, it is on to the new year! I think I will spend a few minutes in the next day praying that each of us have a happy year filled with progress, GROWTH , and health for our kids. And that each of us have the strength and good health ourselves to keep on fighting and working for these kids and their siblings. I think I will also pray that Dr. Harbison be blessed with the things she needs to keep on going and working and blessing RSS kids. I wish all of you everything you need and some of what you want in the new year. God bless us, every one. Love from Conny, great-aunt to , 21 months old and his sister, Kristel, 9 chubby months old.
