A few q's for those kids that have had the ATTT

I am just found out on Monday that Becky is going to be needing the

ATTT. We are going to have it done in Iowa with Dr.Morocunde in July

and I have a few questions.....

1. How is it with an older one in casts?

2. Car seats.... Any particular ones better than another? How did

you support the legs in the car?

3. Can they crawl with the casts after the surgery or do they have

to stay off their feet the whole 6 weeks?

4. After the surgery how often do they need a checkup? I have heard

6 weeks and then again at 6 mos post op.... are there any more?

5. What would you reccomend for getting around a stroller or a small

wheelchair?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
