Guest guest Posted May 17, 2004 Report Share Posted May 17, 2004 My cousin was an RN and has very serious diabetes - she also has an insulin pump......she is blind and she is under 30 years old. Aside from this she had a very healthy and happy baby boy. She had a lot of stress during the pregnancy and her diabetes was out of control because of multiple deaths in our family. With all this said have faith that you and your baby will be okay. I am very sorry that your mother is ill. I understand completely your relationship. My mom is like my best friend and I call her about everything good and bad........I am sad that this pregnancy is so uncertain and she may miss the birth of my second son.
