Guest guest
Hi Pat...I thought that was the stuff I was reading about some years ago. It's not available over here tho' .Sounds like it's strong stuff. Is on that? Eileen x pcpets pcpets@...> wrote: Hi Eileen Periactin is a mild antihistamine. The one good thing about it, is that one of it's side effects is an increase in appetite. Many people on the site use it to stimulate appetite in their RSS kids. I believe that it is generally given 2-3 times a day, and that the dosages have to be graduated, or some kids will react with mood swings. There is a graduation schedule somewhere in the archives if you're interested. Guest guest
Hi Eileen, Actually from what I understand, it bombed as an antihistamine! LOL No, doesn't take Periactin yet. He is on continual feeds, and is orally averse, so it will probably be a while before he needs anything to stimulate his appetite. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
