Guest guest
Jonathon went to the eye doctor again today and we have found out further information. She does not believe that he has glaucoma but that his eyes did not completely develop correctly in utero and he has something called Optic Nerve coloboma. Both eyes have a channel that run down the optic nerve and apparently it is some what common in children with " syndromes " . It is apparently a good disgnosis because it does not cause any type of problem with his vision or in the future. They took pictures for a more concrete diagnosis and his pressures will be rechecked in 4 months just to make sure. I just thought this might help others in case some eye issues come up. Pattie P.S. JENNIFER SALEM - I know what you mean, it seems like there might be a little smooth sailing and then some doctor is sitting in front of you describing some new problem and your head is spinning, it makes me just want to go to bed! We had 4 doctors appointments in 1 week, asthma, knee problems, and eye problems, and I thought we were in a smooth spot right now! We see Doctor H on Wednesday and I keep waiting for her to tell me that Puberty is here!...I'm not sure I can take it! I almost want to cancel my appointment just because I feel like we are having a run of BAD LUCK.
Guest guest
Pattie - I forgot to tell you. I gave Dr. H your email hard copy, and she looked at it while I was there. She said that the problem was not connected to the GHT as you wondered, and would talk to you at the appt. Be prepared for a long wait -- she is the middle of transitioning some files and is literally typing a whole lot of stuff into the computer while you are there... > Jonathon went to the eye doctor again today and we have found out > further information.
