That was the reason for my request. For those who are thinking of a

different e-mail program, gmail sorts and groups messages and just

stores all the extra stuff. Sometimes I get lots like above and

usually don't remember to snip off the botttom, but I am trying.

Others seem to be doing the same. Also, in gmail, if you change the

subject line in any way, a new post without the trailer is sent, even

if it is a response. That is what I am doing here.
