Guest guest
Hi I spoke to Malisa tonight and she had her central line placed today. She also had a chest x-ray(they do chest x-rays to make sure that the line is in the proper place) and it showed that the line wasn't placed in her SVC. So tomorrow she will go to IR and they will try to pull the line and place it into the SVC. We hope that IR won't have to pull and push too much and cause her pain. And one of her lumens has no blood return or flushes. So they will look into this tomorrow as well. Please keep Malisa in your thoughts and prayers that everything will go as planned tomorrow with IR and that she will be able to come home in the next day. She has so much to do this coming week. She is going to be a speaker at a GI Convention in MA this Friday along with other GI docs and Dr. Korson and is looking so forward to this. I hope she is well enough to make it. Either Malisa or I will let you know how things go tomorrow. Hugs, Ann-Marie -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Guest guest
Ann-Marie, Thanks for the detailed update, our thoughts are with her. She should try to get " life experience credit " from one of those colleges that offer it for all the time she's spent dealing with her lines (probably use the credits for med school, nurses make the best doctors)!
