Guest guest
My son has what our speech patholigist thinks is Apraxia. She says she can not diagnose him and that a Developmental Pediatrician would have to make the diagnosis. She is treating him for Apraxia because he has a 6 word verbal vocabulary, says 3 consonant sounds (only D consistenly), his vowel sounds are distorted, and he has a nasal sound when he talks. Do I need to get an absolute diagnosis or should I just follow my therapist's advice?
