Guest guest
Increasing the protein is an excellent idea. The other thing I was grateful I did was to do my grocery shopping before the surgery. I was told that I could not lift more then 2 or 3 lbs or about the weight of a plate of food. I had to start buying milk in the half gallon jugs and that was still a little hard to lift for the first 2 weeks after surgery. Lori Owen - Denton, Texas CHF 4/14/01 479 lbs. SRVG 7/16/01 401 lbs. Guest guest
Hi, I am six weeks along, and I am already starting to get a pouch. I have not gained any weight, but I cannot get my pants buttoned without being very uncomfortable. I usually wear a 10, so I went and got some elastic waist 12's. They feel much better. I don't remember showing this early with my daughter, but I weighed over 300 then. I am 2.5 years out from gastric, and 18 mos out from tummy tuck. Is my stomach going to look the same afterwards? Should I expect to have a pouch again? I am assuming if I do it will not be as bad as last time since I had hanging skin. Is there anything I can do to keep my stomach in shape during this pregnancy?
