Guest guest
Hello to all and a very happy Mother's Day!!! We had the benefit dance last night and it was a huge success! There were tons of items donated for the silent auction including an entire pig with cut and wrap included. We put in many hours of prep work and organizing, there were so many people involved and it went very smoothly, the responce was overwhelming. The DJ played the dance for $125 (discount from $425) and then he took a special interest in Olivia as he was born with a cleft lip and pallet, at the end of the dance he waived his fee altogether! We were stunned! They added up what they could at the end of the dance and brought Trent and I into the middle of the dance floor, everyone joined hands and made a circle around us and they played the song " It Takes A Village To Raise A Child " Trent and I were in tears and so were most of the people. Together they raised a grand total of just over $4000.00!!!!!!!!!! Our community is so kind and loving, we're proud to live here and our thanks will never be enough, God has blessed us in so many ways. With all of the fundraising we have done we've raised over $10,000.00 so far. God is good, and we shall sing His praises to the heavens!! God bless everyone on this special day and always.
