Guest guest
You are feeling sssoooo normal right now. it is perfectly normal to be tired ALL the time and that will make you feel depressed and down. It usually last thru the first trimester but it does get better, really it does. Take the naps when you can because it does help you feel better if you are well rested. I found when i was down that a nice quiet shower to refresh also helped pick me up. good Luck, i hope you feel better soon. God Bless, Robin, NorthEastern, NY EDD- July 27th, 2004 IT'S A BOY!!!!!! Guest guest
Robin, This is my first pregnancy so you are way more experienced in this area than I am, but I have learned from this group that every pregnancy is different. I would assume that you are taking prenatal vitamins, right? How many supplements are you taking? I have heard that if you up the amount of folic acid that you take that that can help your energy level. Did the depression come up after you found out you were pregnant or was it before? I guess at this time its hard to say if the depression is making you tired or is it the pregnancy? I wish I could offer more advice, but I would just do your best to get in all your vitamins, make sure you stay hydrated, and just listen to what your body needs now with the hopes that once you get into the second trimester your energy level will improve. I'm sending positive vibes of energy your way! Axelrod Why do I feel this way??? I am about 10 weeks pregnant after having a DS wls one year ago. Before I got pregnant I was feeling great!! Now I feel like crap....tired ALL THE TIME, and needing naps, depression ect. Is this normal...? I have two other children and didn't have any of this with them...but that was before I had WLS. My bloodwork has come back ok...but I feel alone and scared...Please help me..I have no one to turn to for answers...My WLS dr. wants me to have monthly ultrasounds...just to make sure.. and he put me on enzymes to help me absorb more protein and vits.. any help and encouragement is greatly appreciated!!! Thank You, Robin Rich WLS 3/26/03 280lbs now 170lbs.
