Guest guest
I've been researching the various supplements to help my son 's Apraxia but am still unsure about the exact " recipe " to begin. My question is for the families who are currently using supplements and have seen improvements. Are the supplements designed for children, as in a " children's vitamin " ? I've seen some listed as being for children and wondered if that's the ones I need to purchase. I don't want to give a dosage that is for an adult and wanted to be sure before I purchase anything. I've also had a hard time finding an EPA that had " PRO " in it's name like I've read here in the group. All the ones I've seen on the Nutrition Express website simply had EPA in the title description. I'm wondering if it needs to be PRO EPA as well as what the difference is? I guess I'm just still so unclear about everything and need advice with it all! Thanks to anyone willing to share their info.
Guest guest
Hi , A lot of people here (myself included) use an Omega 3-6-9 supplement by Nordic Naturals. I believe the prefix " Pro " was used by Nordic Naturals with their product lines sold to doctors, etc. So the prefix " Pro " is just a marketing affix and not an indicator of a specific kind of EPA. You can give the adult product. The childrens' formula is basically the same, but in smaller " packages. " For example, it would take 4 " junior size " to equal 2 " adult size, " which is what a lot of people start out with. You get a bit more value giving the " adult " product. Most people start out with one Nordic Natural EPA, and 2 Complete Omega 3-6-9. If I'm amiss with anything here, somebody please clarify. Guest guest
Thanks . That " Pro " really had me confused. I'm off to order the supps now. Hopefully, they will benefit my son. His frustration at not being able to communicate properly breaks my heart, and has sent me so far into desperation that I do believe I'd practice voodoo if I thought it would work!!
